Our 2022 Art for Haiti focused on raising funds to support our Scholarship Program for our students in Fairfield County and Haiti!
The event took place at MoCA Westport, and featured live performances by world-renowned artist Phyllisia Ross, Bosco 509, & Mikaelle Aimee!
The Art Expo highlighted artist such as @caltheartist, @gregaimeart, @jean_benoit_arts and raffle pieces donated by @akomicsart!
Art for Haiti also included a fashion show led by CEO of Dose of Mi, MiMi and Fashion Stylist Withley Verdiner!

Art for Haiti is a fundraising event centered around raising money to support our programs and initiatives in CT and Haiti. The event highlights upcoming and established artists who perform poetry, painting, music, and more.
In previous years, proceeds from the event has allowed the nonprofit to establish our Haiti Scholarship Program. Provide household needs, hygiene products and school supplies to the youth we work with in Port-au-Prince.
In CT, we've awarded more than $12,000 in scholarships to first-year students from Fairfield County, provide mentorship as well as host our yearly Back-2-School event.
Heart & Purpose is responsible for the yearly tuition of 11 girls in Haiti, from elementary to college students. Since the 2022 Academic year, we’ve been able to hire one of the students as a paid intern who coordinates all communications, payments and administrative work for the Haiti Scholarship Program.
