REACHING OUR COMMUNITY (R.O.C.)
Heart & Purpose organizes life-skill workshops that provide essential support for youth to excel academically and professionally.
These workshops, recommended by WHO, UNESCO, and UNICEF, are designed to equip our youth with the necessary skills they need to navigate the challenges of life effectively.
In collaboration with the Ferguson Library in Stamford, CT, H&P launched the R.O.C (Reaching our Communities) Program in May 2023.
This initiative brings together a cohort of students who actively participate in a 6-week Saturday Enrichment program. The program focuses on equipping these young individuals with essential skills such as Effective Communication, Understanding Emotion & Managing Stress, and much more.
The program also offers engaging activities and experiences such as mural painting, urban farming and marine biology to the youth!
