President

After earning his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Connecticut State University, Vladimir entered the US Army to explore his passion for Service and Leadership. He serves as a Commander in the US Army, holding the rank of Captain and a Police Officer in Stamford, CT. Vladimir focuses on the core functions of the organization to enable it to achieve its long-term vision. Areas of focus include strategy, finance, board management, fundraising, and program delivery. He develops and implements Heart & Purpose's core mission, long- and short-term goals, and objectives.

Vice President

Nupsie-flore Exantus has worked in the public school system and in the mental health sector for over a decade, advocating for the wellbeing of youth and their families. Nupsie has her Doctorate in Social Work & Organizational Leadership as well as an Advanced Certification in Nonprofit Management. At Heart & Purpose, Nupsie is responsible for general management, designing an expansion plan, and emphasizing program evaluation. She has overall strategic and operational responsibility for Heart & Purpose's staff, programs, expansion, and mission execution. Along with the President, Nupsie is also responsible for expanding community relations for the nonprofit.

Yves Gerald was born and raised in Haiti. He moved to the US in 2007 and attended Norwalk Community College and the University of Connecticut. Yves later joined The US Army, where he served for eight years and ascended to Corporal's rank. Yves is currently working as a Police Officer in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Pracilya Titus

Director of Programs

Pracilya has over 10 years of experience in the education sector, currently working as the Guided Pathways Advisor at CT State Norwalk. With a background in Social Work and Women's Studies, she is committed to ensuring that marginalized groups are connected to needed resources. As the Programs Director, Pracilya is responsible for developing and implementing the organization's programs. She collaborates with community members to coordinate activities and develop programs that support the organizations's mission. Pracilya also institutes evaluations and assessments to monitor programmatic progress and outcomes.

Engagement Specialist

With a background in Healthcare, workflow optimization, and strategic Business Development, Kiwan has dedicated his life to becoming a driving force in healthcare. He has learned early in his career that integrating strategies that connect society and technology is essential to the future of Healthcare. At Heart & Purpose, Kiwan works closely with the Executive team to create processes that will enhance the nonprofit’s visibility, financial compliance and Engagement.

Johane is an emergency room registered nurse, serving patients in Fairfield County and New York. With over a decade of experience in this demanding field, she brings a deep commitment to the well-being of both youth and the elderly. At Heart & Purpose, Johane oversees the Haiti Scholarship Program. Working directly with students in Haiti, she ensures their needs are met, manages partnerships with several schools and provides crucial career development support, and mentoring to our students.
