The Sheena Jeune Memorial Scholarship
Sheena Jeune, a cherished daughter, sister, and friend, departed from this world on September 6th, 2023, at the age of 38, at Greenwich Hospital.
Sheena was an alumna of Stamford High's class of 2005 and pursued her passion for accounting, earning a bachelor's degree from UCONN in 2009. Her career at Whole Foods started in 2011, where she committed herself to Team Member Services, overseeing operations in five Connecticut stores.
Sheena was a dedicated supporter of Heart & Purpose, participating in numerous fundraising events such as Brunch on the Roof and Art for Haiti. Furthermore, Sheena contributed annually to our educational programs, sponsoring students’ education in Haiti.
Beyond Heart & Purpose, Sheena was known for supporting family and friends in Haiti, providing financial support for basic and educational needs.
Sheena's memory lives on through her loving parents, Catherine and Raymond, her sister Cathia, and her brothers Raymonal and Renick.
Our Heart & Purpose team is privileged to honor Sheena and uphold her legacy through our scholarship program. The Sheena Jeune Memorial Scholarship will be available to graduating high school seniors of Haitian/Haitian-American descent, residing in Fairfield County. The goal of this scholarship is to perpetuate Sheena’s commitment to supporting others through education and her steadfast dedication to uplifting her community.
We are thankful for the chance to offer this scholarship as we celebrate the 5th anniversary of our U.S. Scholarship Program.
We invite you to engage in our mission by becoming a part of the nonprofit, or making a donation toward future scholarships.
Your involvement will help us continue supporting students in their educational journey.
